We always need help but it's hard to do things in the summer with the college being out. People go home oddly enough. I've been debating how to go about this issue and well, I decided to get Pierce trained some to help out. Might as well invest in my own spawn, right? Also he's all about trying to ride AGAIN and I'm like ugh finnneeee.
But he does listen well enough and I need the help so yay!
Right now we're just going with cooling out and I didn't know what he'd think of Vana. Vana, for all his snorting, hot, spooking madman stalliony things is a good soul so I don't worry about how safe he is. He's just an unashamed jerk and likes things his way. #longlivetheking Pierce of course was game to get on him, so they walked around and things were good.
I decided to put some fear into my kid (lol) and have him trot Vana. This horse has a big, suspension filled trot where he likes to pound the ground with his back flat when given the choice. It's big and awkward when he is allowed to be lazy. I figured my still learning to post kiddo would get some healthy respect and not want to ride my big horse. Yeah, that didn't work out. He thought it was loads of fun lol.
